Our people

Our people

At Energy Resources LLC, we recognize our people as the most important asset and foundation of our business. We are committed to providing a safe, healthy and inclusive work environment that supports both personal and professional growth. We uphold employee rights, ensure equal opportunities, and recruit based on professional qualifications and competence. Providing sustainable employment opportunities for local communities remains a key priority within our human resources strategy. As of early 2026, around 40% of our 3,000 direct, full-time employees were local residents from Tsogttsetsii, Dalanzadgad, Bayan-Ovoo, and Khankhongor soums in Umnugobi aimag. Overall, the Ukhaa khudag complex provides direct and indirect employment for around 7,800 people. To ensure exceptional living conditions for our workforce, The "Gallery" camp accommodates up to 650 people, offering a fully integrated, centralized service hub. Furthermore, as part of our commitment to family relocation and local community integration, the Company has established comprehensive residential infrastructure in Tsogttsetsii Soum. Key developments include the modern 800-apartment “Tsetsii” residential town, the “Uurkhaichin” model district, the "Zuzaakhai" kindergarten, and the "Dream" school and kindergarten complex. Long-term employees are further recognized through financial incentives.

Occupational health and safety

Across every stage of our operations, Energy Resources LLC prioritizes the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and local communities. We are committed to fostering a safe and healthy working environment, driven by our principle: "Zero Harm" and "Start Safe, Finish Safe." We have implemented the ISO 45001:2018 standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. This integrated system provides a comprehensive framework that sets out our OHS policy, goals, targets, and requirements, as well as the means to achieve them, applying directly to every project and activity carried out by the Company. Accordingly, our safety performances fall below the industry average internationally within our efforts to keep the incident rates at minimum. Within our OHS framework, the company regularly conducts workplace risk assessments, evaluates working conditions, provides comprehensive safety training for all employees, and carries out routine site inspections. We actively address non-conformities and implement targeted corrective action plans based on incident investigations. For example, the company conducts an average of approximately 200 workplace safety inspections annually. Furthermore, Energy Resources LLC regularly delivers targeted safety inductions, risk management workshops, and first-aid training programmes for all personnel. We have 24/7 stand-by medical team and rescue teams work on-site to ensure that any accidents and emergencies are responded to as quick as possible.
