Transportation and logistics

Energy Resources LLC independently manages its own transportation and logistics operations, supported by a team of professional drivers and a modern fleet. The Company has its own truck maintenance and repair facilities essential for maintaining the safety and efficiency of its coal transport operations. The road was built by Energy Resources LLC in 2011 under the BOT agreement between the Company and the Government of Mongolia (“GoM”) and was transferred to the GoM in 2014. More than 1,200 engineers and technical staff from over 40 national subcontractors took part in building the road. The commissioning of the road significantly improved transport efficiency and safety while substantially reducing negative environmental impacts, such as dust emissions from unpaved dirt roads. In 2012, the Company, jointly with Erdenes Mongol LLC, financed and carried out the expansion of the Gashuunsukhait border checkpoint facilities, contributing to the development of transport infrastructure in the Tavantolgoi region.
