Water supply system

The water supply system ensures reliable delivery for the entire mining complex as well as residents in Tsogttsetsii soum, Umnugobi aimag. Every part of the system is built on advanced technology that keeps water use as efficient as possible and conserves water resources.

Water supply

To support its CHPP operations and production capacity expansion, Energy Resources LLC commissioned a dedicated water supply facility in June 2011. Tailored specifically for the arid Gobi region, the system incorporates international technologies capable of recycling up to 100% of operational water. Beyond supporting site operations, the system also provides purified drinking water to the local community in Tsogttsetsii soum, Umnugobi aimag. Designed for maximum efficiency, the Ukhaa Khudag water facility delivers a highly cost-effective water management solution. For example, its 56,000 m³ primary reservoir utilizes specialized lining technology to eliminate soil seepage and minimize evaporation. In addition, an automated monitoring system ensures precise, real-time control over water distribution across the network.
