During the event, the Governor’s Office of Umnugobi aimag presented the Company with the “Best Investor” award in recognition of its responsible mining and its contribution to the development of the aimag and the soum. The Tax Department of Umnugobi aimag also presented the “Best Taxpayer” award for 2026.

Energy Resources also took part successfully in the sports and skills competitions held during the open day, with the following results:

• 1st place for the emergency response team of the OHS and Environment Department in the rescue skills competition
• 1st place for the women’s volleyball team
• 3rd place for the men’s volleyball team
• 3rd place in women’s table tennis for Ts. Tserenchimed of the Logistics Department
• 3rd place in men’s table tennis for T. Margad-Erdene of the OHS and Environment Department, giving third place overall on combined team points.
